The humans of Akivir if there are any I expect to be like an Oriental / American Indian / Latino look. But probably not too Mongolian influenced as I feel Morrowind is the central Asia / mainland China / Turkic / Mongolian region. My guess is that the North of Akivir could be more of an Artic climate like that of Greenland, Canada, Alaska crossing over to Siberia. That and I'm guessing some will be crossed with Japanese influences. Especially Central America and Mexico etc. I'm hoping much will be more like the Americas. That and many diverse races (some similar to beast races of Tamriel. It will have various types of climate and terrain. I think Akavir will be like Tamriel as in it will be a vast continent that offers much more than one province. Kamal is all frozen over, being an anomaly in this, but since Disaster at Ionith implies the Akaviri have weather magics, and since everyone hates the Kamal, I imagine that the Akaviri sorcerers intentionally froze the landscape to hinder the Kamal.Ĭhad Holloway Posts: 3388 Joined: Wed 5:21 am China has plenty of swamps, so a marshland Akavir would fit in with the Oriental stylings. Disaster at Ionith mentions Akavir having rich, well watered fields, and that could've easily been marsh before Akaviri irrigation and whatnot.

Judging by Morrowind, most of Vvardenfell is volcanic wasteland and marsh. So logically Akavir must mirror the east of Tamriel. Pyandonea is a tropical rainforest like Valenwood and parts of Elsweyr. Yokuda was a barely hospitable desert like Hammerfell. Atmora is a frozen over hellhole as an exaggeration of Skyrim. Note how all the continents mirror the sides of Tamriel. I believe the landscape of Akavir is mainly marsh.
